Sculptural studies in bronze and stone

[ STATEMENT ]

Sculpture as impact, not decoration

Beyond Form brings Sergei Oganov’s works together in one space and presents them on sculpture’s terms: with a sense of scale, silence and attention to each work. The exhibition includes works available for acquisition as well as works from private collections.

[ DOSSIER ]

Sergei Oganov is a contemporary Belarusian sculptor who uses historical and mythological imagery as a language for exploring human virtues and vices.

He works in bronze and stone, combining academic tradition with sharp, almost Brutalist geometry. Emotion is conveyed through pose and gesture; detail remains only where it carries meaning.

Oganov’s practice spans easel and monumental sculpture. His works include historical monuments in Belarus as well as monumental projects in Turkey, China and Armenia.
