When Lambs Become Lions

Time passed, and Kirill and I exhausted the myths of antiquity – so we turned to the Middle Ages. Knights, castles, warhorses. The child begins to understand his smallness, his fragility, and it unsettles him. But humans are not born with fate already carved in stone. Given time, we can become lions. It is the image of a child sitting on a stone gargoyle. He clutches a heart-shaped shield and has no sword. But he will grow, he will become strong, and his great weapon, his armor, will be his big kind and noble heart.
