A concise easel sculpture centered on the image of a Crusader. The warrior is presented as a frozen idol: the shield bears temple imagery, while behind him is the burden of his deeds. The sculptor deliberately avoids glorification, leaving tense silence and emptiness where one might expect a soul. The work is built on the contrast between outward service and inner desolation.
