An image of the ancient god of fire, patron of blacksmiths and artisans, foundry workers, and, in my opinion, sculptors. It is a powerful and very lonely, tired figure. The sculpture was created during a rather difficult period for the artist, and many colleagues consider it a self-portrait of sorts. An attempt to convey emotion and inner tension in a static figure, the silence and solitude in the moment between accomplishments. When the artist has stopped.
