Diese Bedingungen erklären, wie Anfragen, Reservierungen und Verkäufe der auf dieser Website gezeigten Kunstwerke bearbeitet werden.

1. Scope

These Terms of Sale apply to purchases of artworks offered through IDOLFINDS on this website, subject to any mandatory consumer rights applicable by law. A sale is made only after the artwork, price, delivery terms and payment method have been confirmed in writing. If an invoice, bill of sale or signed agreement says something different, that document takes priority for that transaction.

2. Seller and operator

IDOLFINDS is operated by SIA iLAT, a Latvian company established in 2010. Registration No.: 40103334934. VAT No.: LV40103334934. Registered address: Jomas iela 62, Jūrmala, LV-2015, Latvia. Artworks may be owned by SIA iLAT, supplied by an artist, or offered under an agreement with an artist or another lawful owner.

3. Enquiry and reservation

Sending an enquiry does not reserve an artwork and does not create an obligation to buy. Availability can change until a reservation or sale is confirmed in writing. If a temporary hold is offered, its duration and conditions will be stated in the written confirmation.

4. Price, taxes and payment

Prices are provided on request in the currency indicated. Standard transportation to the destination agreed at the time of purchase is included in the artwork price unless expressly stated otherwise before purchase. Customs duties, import VAT, local taxes, customs brokerage charges, bank fees and other destination-country charges are not included unless expressly stated otherwise. Artworks are normally dispatched after full cleared payment has been received.

5. Shipping

Unless expressly indicated otherwise, artworks are dispatched from Latvia. Depending on the artwork’s dimensions, weight, materials and value, IDOLFINDS may use specialist art logistics providers, professional freight companies or established international courier services. Delivery times are estimates unless guaranteed in writing.

6. Customs and import taxes

For international shipments, the buyer is responsible for applicable customs duties, import VAT, local taxes, customs brokerage charges and other destination-country import charges unless expressly stated otherwise before purchase. IDOLFINDS will provide customary commercial documentation reasonably required for transportation and customs clearance.

7. Authenticity

Where applicable, artworks are supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity or other relevant documentation. Artworks sold directly by IDOLFINDS are covered by an authenticity guarantee: if an artwork sold as authentic is established to be inauthentic within one year from purchase, IDOLFINDS will accept its return and refund the purchase price, subject to applicable law and reasonable evidence.

8. Buyer protection

Buyer Protection applies where an artwork sold directly by IDOLFINDS is materially different from its description, materially damaged during transportation, not the artwork ordered or not delivered. For transport damage or an apparent material discrepancy, the buyer should contact IDOLFINDS as soon as reasonably possible and preferably within 7 calendar days after delivery, keeping the original packaging and photographs.

9. 14-day returns

Where the buyer is a consumer entitled to a statutory right of withdrawal, the buyer may withdraw from an eligible distance purchase within 14 days after receiving the artwork. The buyer must inform IDOLFINDS before the period expires and return the artwork without undue delay. For a normal change-of-mind return, the buyer bears the direct cost of returning the artwork to Latvia where permitted by law and where properly informed before purchase.

10. Refunds

Following a valid statutory withdrawal, IDOLFINDS will refund payments that must be refunded under applicable consumer law, normally using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed. IDOLFINDS may withhold reimbursement until the artwork has been received back or the buyer provides evidence that it has been sent back, where permitted by law.

11. Withdrawal notice

To exercise an applicable right of withdrawal, the buyer should send an unequivocal written notice to IDOLFINDS / SIA iLAT with the artwork or invoice details, order date, delivery date, buyer name, address, email and date of notice.

12. Ownership and risk

Legal title to an artwork remains with SIA iLAT or the relevant lawful owner until full cleared payment has been received. The allocation of transportation risk is determined by applicable law and the agreed delivery arrangements.

13. Copyright

Buying an artwork does not transfer copyright, moral rights or reproduction rights. Images of the artwork may not be used commercially without written permission from the rights holder.

14. Governing law

These Terms of Sale are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Where the buyer is a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive the buyer of mandatory consumer-protection rights that cannot legally be excluded by contract.
